Mingo, as he was known amongst family and friends, is survived by his wife: Juanita, four children: Belinda, Domingo Jr. (Sonny), Victor and Vincent, mother: Cira Aguirre Villalovos, three brothers: Carmen, Santiago and Robert, and 20 grand children.
He was preceded in death by his father Santiago Villalovos in 1978.
Mingo was a cherished member of this community. He moved to Nipomo in 1966 at age 9. Mingo attended Nipomo Elementary, Dana Junior High, and Arroyo Grande High School where he met his wife of 39 years, Juanita Nunez. Mingo joined the Marines in 1972 where he received the rifle expert award.

In his lifetime he enjoyed many hobbies such as painting, welding, horseshoes and spending time with his kids; but most will remember him on the softball field. In nearly 40 years of playing softball he achieved many accomplishments; his most recent includes back to back senior world championship titles. It was not uncommon to find Mingo on the softball field 5-6 nights a week. He was most proud of playing with all of his kids as well as his extended softball family.
Domingo touched many people with his generosity, humor and willingness to help others. He has left many people with cherished memories. He will be sorely missed by many.
