Domingo, age 59, passed away with his immediate family by his side on June 29, 2012 at Marian Medical Center after a year-long battle with gastric cancer.
Mingo, as he was known amongst family and friends, is survived by his wife: Juanita, four children: Belinda, Domingo Jr. (Sonny), Victor and Vincent, mother: Cira Aguirre Villalovos, three brothers: Carmen, Santiago and Robert, and 20 grand children.
He was preceded in death by his father Santiago Villalovos in 1978.
Mingo was a cherished member of this community. He moved to Nipomo in 1966 at age 9. Mingo attended Nipomo Elementary, Dana Junior High, and Arroyo Grande High School where he met his wife of 39 years, Juanita Nunez. Mingo joined the Marines in 1972 where he received the rifle expert award.
Mingo was proudly employed with Holy/Union Sugar for 16 years and more recently employed at the Chumash Casino from 1996-2012.
