My brother, Woody Schultz, went missing in a surfing accident on August 28th, 1980. No body was ever found and it was the first time in the recorded history of Newport Beach that a body had not been recovered.
Woody, we miss you terribly and hear your laughter everyday, even after all of these years. And, 'It's a wonderful night for a moon dance...'

I graduated NHHS in 1973. I knew Woody through mutual friends. He had a razor sharp sense of humor, and was a kind and caring person. Every time I had a conversation with him, or overheard him talking to others, I was usually cracking up. I think about him often, and I imagine he is carving it up on a round egg board somewhere, in the sky, or somewhere in the world.

Woody "Always" made me feel special... He would always have a kind word or funny "Tease" for this volleyball girl from CDM. Save a "Moon Dance" for me Big Guy! Miss You!

Just goes to show you, people are not forgotten, I thought of Woody Schultz today, he wasn't a friend of mine but we went to NHHS together. I have thought of him over the years and will continue to.

Started surfing with Woody and Gerard Wooters in junior high at the river jetty. Had a lot of fun trips to Mexico surfing and Palm Desert drinking.

Wow! Cito! It’s been such a long time! How did you end up with that board? Where are you living these days? So many questions.....
