-Car Accident-

Tricia Jo (Rice) Jensen, 37, of Santa Maria, CA passed away on February 6, 2017. Tricia was born in Santa Maria, California on November 22, 1979.
Tricia was a lifelong resident of the Central Coast. She graduated from Arroyo Grande High School and Allan Hancock College where she earned an Associate’s Degree in wine marketing and sales. She worked at Rancho Sisquoc winery as the tasting room manager and then started her own small business called Green at Heart Cleaning. Tricia was also a familiar face in the local 5K and half marathons, as well as CrossFit and coaching her son’s youth baseball team. Tricia was a member of the PTA at Alice Shaw Elementary School and participated in multiple charities, such as Relay for Life and the Avon Walk to End Breast Cancer. Tricia loved being outside and having picnics on hot sunny days, but Tricia’s true passion and love was being a mother and raising her three beautiful children.
Tricia is survived by a countless number of friends, her husband, Bobby Jensen and her three children, Lucy, Logun, and Lindy. She is also survived by father Fred Rice, mother Nancy Akada and brothers Justin Goodwin and Eddie Rice.

I have been privileged to know Tricia since we were little kids. Seeing the picture of her in her cheerleading outfit is the only way you ever see her, with a smile so contagious that frowns couldn't exist anywhere near her. No one can look at that picture without smiling. I don't believe she ever had another countenance. She gave everyone a prime example of the enjoyment life is, all we have to do is acknowledge it.
