Just saw this about Shonnie. I knew Shonnie since elementary school. What a sad shock. My heart is with her children. I wish there were anything I could do to laugh with her again. I believe we will all see eachother again someday. So until that time my friend I wish you to RIP.

I have been beat friends with Shonnie since the 5th grade. We went to elementary school and Paulding together and then I had to move to NC. I missed my friend then and I miss her now. Until we meet again, I love you.

No one could ever forget Shonnie. Her smile was infectious. Her laugh was all-in belly laughs. She was always the lightest spirit, and I was envious of her way of making everything upbeat and full of joy. She lifted everyone’s spirit, as if that was her purpose on earth. If she loved you she gave you a nickname - she truly made each friendship a unique bond. She’d get on the bus every afternoon from Paulding and I’d hear “Aims!”, as she was coming towards me. She was a light and I hope everyone who crossed paths with her knew the special person they were interacting with. She will be missed by many, but admired by most and remembered by all. I love you, Shonnie!
