Zel was a wonderful woman and was like a second mother to me for many years, teaching me everything from love, respect to others and yourself to being independent. Zel was my nurse when I was a little girl in San Luis Obispo and latter took care of my Mom when she was in the hospital in her last days. I lived with Zel in her home in Morro bay when she returned from Sudia Arabia, Tim my prayers are with you and your family I remember the love and friendship the two of you shared. You made Zel very happy to become a Grandma. Respectfully Cheryl Owen-Fraser

She was my beloved aunt, whom I didn't get to spend nearly enough time with, to my utmost regret. She did have a profound affect on my life with her genuine kindness and caring personality. I greatly loved and admired her and her artistic spirit.
