I knew him since I first moved to Cali. He lived and the end of my street. We even worked together for about a year... He was killed just shortly after we stopped working together. He was one of my best friends even though he was a few years younger than me. I felt terrible when he passed. I think of him often.

Robert and I lived in the same apartment complex in SLO.He would visit with me everyday. The day before he wrecked on the motorcycle he was at my apartment and asked me to be his girlfriend and I told him no,gave him a kiss and said I still cared about him though. That has always haunted me,maybe if I said yes he would of been with me that night instead.Even more frustrating is his helmet was strapped to his motorcycle, but he wouldn't put it on his head, his cousin told me. I love you Robert!!!

Robert grew up down the street from me. Everytime I'd ride my bicycle by his house we would always yell funny stuff at eachother. He was quite the character. The night he passed was a week b4 my wedding and the night of our bachelorette/bachelor parties. It was a shock. A friend of ours towed his motorcycle. He told us the whole story. Then friends of ours who were with him minutes b4 his accident filled in some blanks. Im so sad they didnt spend more time teaching us about drinking and driving in school. Nowadays is using any drug and driving. So many have been lost to this senseless act. There is NEVER a reason to drive under the influence. Especially now. Call a friend. Anyone will most likely pick you up. At any hour too. Roberts passing was a bright light shone down that dirty road for me. I've never forgotten and occasionally visit his grave. I've even taken my sons to show them what happens. RIP Robert. You were a great guy with an awesome sense of humor. God be with your family.
