My heart goes out to all the Buenrostro family! I've known Robert since 3rd grade. He was always a very nice person. He remained that way throughout high school and I'm sure throughout his adulthood. There aren't enough people in this world like Robert...

Today is a year that you been gone. I feel as if I am reliving that day all over again. The pain I feel. I think about you everyday and wish you were here with us. I know you are in a better place and that I will see you again. Its just still hard to believe that such a great man had to leave so soon. We all miss you very much. I love you Tio and I cherish all the memories I have of you. Love you always!!

I ran across this today and just wanted you to know that you have not been forgotten. Your babies have had a rough few years, but you would be so proud of them. They are beginning to learn how to put in practice all that you taught them. The girls are so beautiful and Robert looks just like you. It is hard to believe that Maria was pregnant with JJ when you passed away and now you have three grand kids! They all are so beautiful and growing up so fast. I wish that you were here to do with them all the things that Grandpas do, but I know that you are watching over them and that the foundation that you planted is now beginning to grow through your kids. Ecclia now has a little boy that she named Robert after you and her Grandpa. Since I moved I do not get to see the kids as much as I would like to, but I do keep in touch with them and try to be there for them when they need me. Maria posted a comment the other day that talked about how men should treat women and that she knew how she should be treated because her Daddy taught her. All of your girls are have grown into wonderful woman and Nessa and Maria are good mothers. Robert reminds me more and more of you every time I see him. i hope that you will always know how much you are missed and loved. I promise to do everything that I can to be there not only for your kids but your grand kids as well. Rest In Peace.

Till we meet at Jesus feet ♥
