"Our dad's life was taken away from us so early and unexpectedly that it was very hard to except, we love and miss him so much but he will live on in our hearts forever."
ARROYO GRANDE Raymond Vogel, 46, died Wednesday, April 26, 1989, at his home. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel in Grover City and inurnment will be private. Mr. Vogel was born on March 29, 1943, in California and was raised and educated in Arroyo Grande. After serving in the United States Navy, he returned to Arroyo Grande several years ago. He is survived by his father, Robert A. Vogel of San Luis Obispo; his mother, Anne Vogel of Arroyo Grande; two daughter's, Deena Ford of Arroyo Grande and Laura Penney of Ft. Ord, California; one sister, Dorothy Thompson of Arroyo Grande; three brothers, William and Richard Vogel both of Nipomo, and Roger Vogel of San Luis Obispo; and one grandchild.

I knew you dad and remember I last saw him in 1959 just before I enlisted in the navy. So sorry accept my condolences. If you or any of your dads friends wish to contact me regarding anything at all. It is ok feel free to do so.

Thinking of you today and every day. We miss you so much. I can’t believe it’s been 35 years! You would be so proud of your 11 grandkids and 13 great grandbabies! They are all so amazing. I love you dad! Happy heavenly birthday ❤️
