GROVER CITY - W. Randy Bing, 26, died Sunday, June 30, 1985 in a San Luis Obispo hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) in the Wood-Voakes Mortuary Chapel in Arroyo Grande. The Rev. Dr. Charles N. Gibbs, pastor of the First Christian Church in Santa Maria, will officiate. Private inurnment will be at a later date. He was born on March 12, 1959 in San Diego and moved to Grover City two years ago from Santa Maria. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 12 and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his hither, William A. Bing of Nipomo; his mother, Diane S. Adams of Santa Maria; his fiancé, Lynda Peters of Grover City; three brothers, and two sisters.

Randy Bing
Randy & I had a relationship from 9th grade to our senior year of high school.
He was amazing and full of life; but upset my parents when he rode up on his Shiloh pony that pissed on my parent’s grass- which killed the lawn.
My dad didn’t understand why a suitor who arrives on horse did not have a car.
Randy didn’t have the money to own a car- he borrowed his dad truck for our 2nd date
In the end – Randy moved on
