Neil David Ashworth, 44, peacefully passed on March 17, 2015 after a long illness surrounded by family and friends. A graduate of Arroyo Grande High School, Neil loved spending time with his family and friends, he also loved to travel and enjoyed all types of sports. He was an avid Seahawks fan, with vast knowledge of sports trivia. Neil is survived by his son, Michael Ashworth; mom, Angela Cooper; girlfriend, Nina Ornelas; sister, Courtney Wilson; brothers, Brandon Ashworth and David Ashworth; 3 grandmothers and extended family. He is preceded in death by his father, David Ashworth. As an organ recipient, Neil would encourage everyone to consider organ donation. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 12:00 to 3:00pm at the recreation room at 241 Courtland St, Arroyo Grande.
