Arnold resident Maile Lanu McKenna died of complications from asthma on Dec. 20 at Mark Twain Saint Joseph’s Hospital in San Andreas. She was 37.
...Born in Kauai, Hawaii, she moved to Arroyo Grande with her family when she was 7 and lived for 10 years. She later moved to Arnold, where she lived for the last 15 years.
She was a member of the Arnold Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is survived by her daughters, Malia and Makala McKenna, both of Arnold; parents, Terry and T. Buck, of Arnold; and siblings, Jason Buck, of Sacramento, Kelly McKenna, of Bend, Ore., and Dennis McKenna Jr., of Arroyo Grande.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Jan. 1 at the Arnold Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness, 4339 Meadow View Road, Murphys.
Angels Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
