Kenny was one of the "nice" guys. He always had something nice to say and never an alterier motive. I have great memories of long days at the beach and dune runs without seatbelts. It's been a long time since his young life was lost but I miss him as much today and I did then. I think we would have always been friends. I hope you are resting in PEACE old friend and our paths cross again someday. Love, Kim Ward

I surely have missed him. We had so many great times,Biddle Park playing football/hakey sak. Not mention the stunts we pulled like sneeking a Keg into the Fair Oaks theater putting Kenny's jacket and "Jack Daniels" Hat on it for a disguise. Which worked. He was a loyal friend to me all the years we knew each other. Not a day has passed that I haven't thought about him over all these years

Found this song by a local band named "Devil Makes Three". Reminded so much of Kenny. Had to share...

I guess I grew up on an old dirt road
Pedal to the metal always did what I was told
Till I found out that my brand new clothes
Came second hand from the rich kids next door
When I grew up fast I guess I grew up mean
There's a thousand things inside my head I wish I ain't seen
And now i just wondered through a real bad dream
Feelin' like I'm coming apart at the seems

Thank you Jack Daniels Old Number Seven
Tennessee Whiskey got me drinking in heaven
Angels start to look good to me
They're gonna have to deport me to the firey deep

Thank you Jack Daniels Old Number Seven
Tennessee Whiskey got me drinking in heaven
I know I can't stay here to long
Cause I can't go a week with out doin' wrong
Without doing wrong
Without doing wrong
Without doing wrong

So I'm sitting as the bar stool it starts to grow roots
Feelin' like an old worn out pair of shoes
Tell me what is it I should do
When I'm swimming in the liquor only half way through
So I'm watching as his wings spread as wide as could be
Come on now and wrap them around me
Cause all I want to do now is fall to sleep
Come down here and lay next to me

Thank you Jack Daniels Old Number Seven
Tennessee Whiskey got me drinking in heaven
Up here the bottle never runs dry
And you never wake up with those tears in your eyes

Thank you Jack Daniels Old Number Seven
Tennessee Whiskey got me drinking in heaven
Angels start to look good to me
They're gonna have to deport me to the fiery deeps(Old Number Seven)
To the fiery deeps(Drinkin' in heaven)
To the fiery deeps(Old Number Seven)
To the fiery deeps(Drinkin' in heaven)

It has been years since you left us but to me it seems like yesterday till we meet again. For now rest in peace buddy your never forgotten in my heart and mind.

I loved Kenny like a brother. Jeff Pearce and i spent a lot of time together. Without them i never would have met my best friend Samone Duncan. When ever we got into trouble they took the blame and never hung me out to dry. He was one of the good guys. Tragic accident. I wonder what he would have done with his life. Probably great things.
