JOSHUA VOLENTINE

Joshua Michael Volentine, 21, born August 12, 1987 in Bakersfield, Ca passed away April 2, 2009, in Nipomo. Joshua died on his way home from work. Joshua went to Nipomo High School and graduated 2005. He worked at UPS (S.M) and Costco (SLO). Through school and work he always made it known that he was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He used his own time, energy, and money earned to be a full-time minister of Jehovah's Witnesses. He would offer a free home bible study to any who would accept. Joshua expressed his love for Jehovah by telling others about him and his purposes. Joshua always spoke with conviction, choosing carefully the right words to express his heartfelt feelings about our God-given hope. Joshua had a deep love for Jehovah, and he found great pleasure in talking about God's purposes, the kingdom and true worship. Joshua found his place among a world-wide family of his brothers and sisters, who also are Jehovah's Witnesses.
Joshua is survived by his wife Annalisa, and many family members.
His memorial service will be at 333 Hidden Pines Way, Santa Maria, CA on April 19, 2009 at 6pm. .Published in Santa Maria Times on April 16, 2009

Darrell this is Brandon Rehorn's mom. We lived up the road from you many years ago. I have many memories of both you boys and Brandon along with your dad and others playing paintball on your property. We were all saddened the day we heard the tragic news about Josh. Our prayers are always there for all of you and i know a day doesn't go by that he's not remembered by so many loved ones. Just thinking about you and the family on this beautiful Fall day. Blessings to each of you. BTW Brandon now has 3 beautiful baby girls. Ages 3 months, 2.5 years, and 5 years old. Ava, Zoey and Scarlet.

I read about the memorial site and next time I find myself down that way I will stop, say a prayer and enjoy the flowers in bloom. We moved about 3 years ago to Paso. Both Brandon, his wife and kids along with my daughter Amanda, her husband and their daughter all followed mom. I'm happy to have my children close by, I see my grand daughters almost every day because while the parents work I babysit. Did Josh have any children? Or you? I knew he was married and I hope that you all stay in contact with each other. I probably helps the healing process for each of you.
