Jorge Rafael Rodarte, 34, was born in Los Angeles and passed away Monday, Nov.10, 2008.

He is survived by his wife, Veronica; son, Anjel; mother, Maria; sister, Janet; and brothers Jaime, Jose and Alex.

A vigil service will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 501 Fair Oaks Ave. in Arroyo Grande

Oh, Jorge - still can't believe he is gone. He was such a good guy and I have nothing but good memories of him!!

I remember him real well he was always a real nice person I can't believe he is gone. What did he die from it doesn't say.

We hung out almost all through High School and after. Those crazy trips to LA and going to car shows I'll never forget.

George he was such a good friend and always had a smile on his face he called me sparkles he got me with a confetti egg on time and the name stuck he will be missed Rest in Peace my friend! I wish i know what happend to him does any one know i live in oklahoma so i lost contact with him!

MY BROTHER WAS A GREAT MAN, ALWAYS HAD A SMILE IN HIS FACE THAT BRIGHTEN THE WHOLE ROOM. HE WAS SUCH A GOOD BROTHER I CANT BELIEVE HE IS NOW GONE, LIFE IS SO HARD WITHOUT HIM. THINGS DO NOT MAKE SENSE TO ME, AND I THINK THAT THEY NEVER WILL...IT ALL HAPPENED AFTER HIS WIFE WANTED A DIVORCE THINGS GOT VERY HARD FOR HIM, HE BROKE DOWN INTO A BAD DEPRESSION, AND ACCUSED OF KILLING HIM SELF. WE TRIED GETTING HIM HELP, A LOT OF TIMES BUT THE POINT NEVER GOT ACROSS TO RESCUE...THEY WAY IT SHOULD OF HAPPENED. EVEN THOUGH HE WAS ALWAYS AFRAID OF DEATH, HE ALWAYS MADE COMMENTS ON HOW HE WAS AFRAID OF DYING. I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT WAS SOMETHING HE DID....RATHER THAN SOMETHING ELSE THAT MAY HAVE OCCURED.

Jorge was a good older homie all ways had encouraging words and always preached to me about god.I miss the conversations we used to have.

I knew this homie. I used to go to his house and he would draw me some good pictures. One time we went to a car show in LA. He was a very good person and a good homie. (Brother)
