I was just thinking about John and wondering if anyone had heard where he was, he lived about a block behind me and was such a nice boy growing up, I am very saddened to see that he had passed.. god bless him

Hello Pam. Tom Scruggs here. I lost touch with John, but went to his memorial. He was a very kind guy, I guess he had troubles.

I really loved Johnny and I still miss him and think of him. I had to keep my distance because of the choices that he made but I never stopped caring about him

I love this photo of Johnny. I grew up with him as neighbors and he actually was the first boy to kiss me! He was forever teasing me and tricked me one day into coming outside and when I did, he kissed me before I had a chance to run back inside the house! He kept a photo of me when I was in my "ugly duckling" stage, in black-rimmed glasses and long stringy hair, and was forever threatening to show my photo to all the kids in school. Whenever I passed him at school, he'd always give me that look and a chuckle that made me cringe, but also laugh inwardly, as I know it was all innocent fun. I do miss him! Wherever you are now, Johnny, remember, "1 and 1 make 3!" LOL! Crazy dude! Miss ya!
