Everett L. Grabeel

Everett passed away at the age of 60 in Nipomo, ca. on Nov. 10, 2013
Memorial services will be held on Nov. 21, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic
church in Nipomo, Ca. where he was baptized and confirmed.
Everett was born in Santa Maria, Ca. to Elizabeth Hart Grabeel and Vernon J.
Grabeel. He went to St. Patrick Catholic school and Arroyo Grande High school
working for his Aunt Frances Canada on the family dairy. He also drove tractor
for numerous local farmers in Nipomo while in high school. He married his high
school sweetheart Verna Smith and continued working on dairies in the valley. He
then learned to drive truck and remained an owner operator for the rest of his
life. After having four sons, he moved to Los Gatos, Ca. and continued
operations for the next 25 years. After his diagnosis of cancer he elected to
come home to the family home in Nipomo to be cared for by his former wife and
sons.
Everett was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Grabeel, father Vernon
Grabeel, and son Frank Grabeel.
He is survived by his former wife Verna Grabeel, three sons Everett Jr.,
Luke, and Mathew Grabeel, daughter-in-law Holly Grabeel and three grand
children Samantha, Everett 111, and Katie Grabeel.
