Joey, I know it has been since we graduated in 1994 and I didnt know that you had passed. I just figured I would google your name and up came this. You were always so funny and the life of the party. I remember that one time I took you cruising when we were 16 and you asked the police man if he wanted a donut when we were at a red light. You will be missed my friend.

Joey. I had not seen you since Nipomo Elementary school but I had always remembered you. Sad to know you are no longer with us. R.I.P.

Joey made me laugh from the moment I met him. He bought me a ring at the AG Strawberry Festival when we were 15 (and I still have it!) We were great friends and I am sorry to hear of his passing. The world was a better place with Joey in it.

I was sad to hear from our reunion you had passed. The last time I saw you was our graduation in '94. Thank you for being the first to talk to me in English when I first came to that high school in the middle of my sophmore year. You were so silly, and yes sometimes obnoxious (lol, you know), but that was the best part of your personality! I was lucky to get to sit next to you in so many classes! December babies will always rule! God Bless you and your family.

You were my neighbor, we grew up together and took our first chew together sitting on the fence in front of your house, then we threw up! Crazy Mesa kids. You were also my first movie date and we held hands, took you long enough! The old put your hands closer and closer together. So sweet. Then you sang to me with Jarrod, "Unchained Melody" What a heart and how much fun we had growing up here in the eucalyptus trees. You will forever be in my heart. I've missed you since you left this old hill, and I missed you when I found out. Keep an eye out for what's left of us old kids still left up on this Mesa Joey until we get there with you.

Was he married? I think his wife must have died when this happened. Love is eternal.
