Yes he was a great trumpet player! I would know because he and I plus Arnold Castillo, Jimmy ? and Harold Reyes were always "challenging" each other to move a chair in band. David was fierce competitor and a gentle giant also. So sorry to hear of his passing.

As I look back at high school, you and I had an on and off again relationship that was complicated, but I always cared for you and I have thought of you often throughout the years.

I am heartbroken to find out that my old buddy Dave passed away over 8 years ago. I was searching in hopes of getting back in touch with him . We saw each other back in 1997 or so and had a great time. I feel like I`ve been kicked in the gut. I`m sorry we lost touch again since 98 and will forever regret it. I have great memories of us hanging out together that night and jammin in the Jazz band with Jon and Marshall . I`m so sorry for Dave`s family`s loss . So sorry I didn`t know til now. I feel like we just lost him .
