Darin was amongst a few people who traveled to Europe after graduation. We were in Mrs. Keetch's English Lit. class. I remember a comment he made while we all were standing in line to visit a London landmark. It was June 1984 and it was crowded with American students who graduated from various high schools. He said, "Man, this is a tourist trap!" A tour guide from England was insulted by his comment and she chastised him for that. I guess you had to be there, but it made me laugh! God bless you my friend. ;)

Good gosh, John, I was there and I remember that too. He did have a way with words. Funny, loyal, generous and a lover of llamas he was. I also remember Darin on the ferry from Italy to Greece, which I'm pretty sure you remember, but that goofy night will be left for those of us who were there. Is that a bottle of JD rolling with the waves?
