Robert Recio Buenrostro, 40, a lifetime resident of the Central Coast passed away on January 23, 2010.
Robert was born on July 21, 1969 in San Luis Obispo, CA to Rodendo and Maria Buenrostro. He graduated from Arroyo Grande High School in 1988. Robert received his contractor's license and was a member of the Mason's Union.
He was a loving and caring husband, father, son and brother. Robert is survived by his wife of nineteen years and four children all local residents; wife Jessica Lopez Buenrostro; daughters Maria de Los Angeles Buenrostro, Vannessa Michelle Buenrostro, Gabriella Christianna Buenrostro; son Robert Buenrostro, Jr.; mother Maria R Soria and stepfather Ruben Soria; brothers Rosendo Buenrostro, Jr. (Carmen), Fred Buenrostro (Janie), Fernando Buenrostro (Maryanne), Jesus Buenrostro; sisters Theresa DeLeon (Romero), Evelina Buenrostro (Cody), Irene Gonzalez (Louis), Sylvia Diaz (Ernie) and Mireya Soria (Angel).
Robert is known for his love of the outdoors. He loved fishing camping, barbecuing and mostly doing these with his family, especially his youngest son Robert, Jr. A jack of all trades, Robert loved to work with his hands. He was hardworking, loved, respected and honored, a good friend always helping others. Although Robert was a lifetime resident his family came here from Corpus Christi, Texas in 1968.
Known as a gentle man of God his affiliation was with New Beginnings Church of Santa Maria.
Services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, February 1, 2010 at Calvary Chapel in Arroyo Grande, followed by a burial at Arroyo Grande Cemetery.
