Mel is my brother. He had two young children when he passed who are now 19 and 16. He was a great guy and had the best personality! He was kind to everyone and always had a smile on his face! He is very much loved and missed every day!

I can only imagine! My lil brother had a son and wanted to name him after Mel so they comprised and named the baby Melachi but they often call him Mel.

So sad! I'll never forget all the energy your little bro had, Stacy.

It only made for some hilarious memories. I'm sure he was a fun dad for his kids.

Mel was my personal protector in elementary school. He was so tall & easy to hide behind during recess when the other boys would try to smack us in our behinds with their combs. Looking back @ it now, not sure why Mel didn't partake in that ritual??? I guess he knew in the long run being a protector would go further with the girls. He WAS RIGHT, because I couldn't tell you who all the boys were who smacked us, but I will never forget MEL. RIP...
