Kristi A. Rickson GROVER CITY A memorial service was held Monday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. at Calvary Chapel in Arroyo Grande for Kristi Alayne Rickson, 19. A family service was held yesterday (Tuesday) at 10 a.m. at the Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel in Grover City. Officiating at the services was Pastor Steve Carr. Burial will be at sea off the coastline of Grover City. Kristi was born in Phoenix, Ariz. on March 12, 1969. She had lived in Grover City for five years and attended Calvary Chapel in Arroyo Grande. She was a graduate of Arroyo Grande High School with the class of 1987. She was a student at Cuesta College studying to become a nurse and was working as a nurse's aide at the South County Convalescent Center. She died Friday, Oct. 14, 1988, in Pismo Beach. She is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Sharon Rickson of Grover City; two brothers, Scott Rickson and Kevin Rickson, both of Grover City; one sister, Stacey Rickson of Grover City; grandparents, Hazel Calez of Cayucos, Helen and Vernon Hyatt of Los Angeles and her fiancé Dennis King of Grover City.
