YOUNG Karl Joseph (Age 50) A resident of Elk Washington and a Deer Park Washington businessman passed away on Saturday July 5 2008.He is the fiancé of Dawna Schaffer and the loving father of Cody Young of Spokane Valley, WA, Jake Schaffer and Destiney Schaffer. His parents James B and Melvina D Young, reside in Deer Park. Karl is a brother to Kurt Young of Deer Park, Kenneth Young of Lake Crystal, MN, Joyce Terra of Springfield, MN and Lynn Marie Griffin of Walnut Creek, CA. Born in 1958 in San Fernando California Karl graduated from Arroyo Grande High School in Arroyo Grande CA in 1976 and attended Mechanical Technical School in Chicago, IL. He and Dawna have owned and operated Quality Automotive and Towing in Deer Park for many years. Karl was an avid outdoor sportsman and loved bowling. A Funeral Mass honoring Karl will be in Deer Park at 1 00 PM Saturday, July 12, 2008 directed by the LAUER FUNERAL HOME in DEER PARK, WA with Rev Father Albert Grasher, Jr., celebrant Interment will be in the Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery in Deer Park
