Joseph Demetrius Worrell, 45, of Hixson passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at a local hospital.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
Arrangements are by Hamilton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 423-531-3975.

My deepest condolences go out to the family. I was fortunate to have spent so many great times with Joe. He will be missed.

I spent a lot of time with Joe. His infectious laugh, his quirky sense of humor, party's, a surfing safari from Pismo Beach down to roserito Beach. All of the Worrells Boys and Evans Girls were close. I know he will be watching over his loved ones, siblings, children, and grandchildren. Maybe now his poor body can keep up with him.
