Joseph Dale Burrier
Joe died peacefully in his sleep in the place he loved most, the cabin where he lived in upper Lopez Canyon. He was born July 19, 1954.
He is survived by Kathy Hannis and her family; his daughter Brendalee; sisters Joan and Jean; brother Carl; and Joe's adopted family Linda and Steve Spencer; many nieces and nephews and good friends. To the grandkids he was known as "Grandpa Joe".
He loved being outside splitting wood or tinkering with his tractor "Joey". Joe loved being responsible for and taking care of the Spencer property and animals when they were away. He thought this was so important that he would occasionally miss Monday's "band night" at his brother's house in town. Joe would come into town early on Monday's to spend time with his good friend Charlie.
Joe was an exceptional rock and roll drummer, and played in a band with his brother and nephew Rich Burrier and close friends every Monday Night. He loved the music of the Beatles and was quite the Beatles trivia expert. He played every drum fill and backbeat to perfection. He will be sorely missed.
