Jesse passed away suddenly on October 12th, 2011 while working on a job site in Nipomo. Jesse was born March 30th, 1969 in San Luis Obispo, CA to Jesse and Lydia Maldonado.
He was a fun loving man with a heart of gold who loved his family and friends dearly. His wife was his life friend and partner, his kids were the light of his life, and the grandkids were the twinkle in his eyes. He was an avid fisherman and die-hard Steelers fan. His friends found it an honor to have known him and be part of his "family". Jesse was a hard worker having worked for Simplot, Heritage Concrete, and KCI during his lifetime.
Jesse is survived by his wife Roberta McCall Maldonado, his daughter Monique, and sons Jesse III, Frankie, "adopted" daughter Jaime McNamee, and grand kids Gabriella "Gabby", Raymond, Monaye, and Niko, his mother Lydia, "his favorite mother-in-law" Paula McCall Manley, sister Sylvia (Jose), brothers Ernie (Virgie), Tony (Lori), Robert (Lola), Raymond (Sylvia), his nieces Tonya, Shante, Jessica, Samantha, Destiny, Desiree, April, Angie, Shaleen, and nephews Sam, Tommy, Andy, Jay, JR, Tony Jr, Chris, Robert Jr, Ernie Ray, David, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his father Jesse in 1994.
Services will be held at Orcutt Christian Church, 204 Patterson Road, Santa Maria, CA on Thursday, October 20th from 4-6 PM (viewing) and from 6-7 PM (service). A memorial gathering will be held at Nipomo Regional Park on Friday, October 21st from 1 PM to dusk and a benefit BBQ will be held at La Placita Market in Nipomo on Saturday, October 22nd from noon to 5 PM.
