Jason William Ferguson

Jason William Ferguson, 37, went home to be with Jesus Saturday, May 2, 2009, due to a traffic accident in Arlington, Texas. Jason was born in July 1971 in Clinton, Iowa, to Lawrence Eugene Ferguson and Kathy Jo Brown. He grew up on the Central Coast and married Erica Berry of Arroyo Grande. They relocated to Texas after their second child. He was employed as a foreman at Lonestar Concrete. He enjoyed being with his Quest Brothers, worshiping the Lord, telling people about Jesus, volunteering at Amped (a youth organization at his church) and loving on his children. Jason is survived by his wife, Erica; six children, Johnathan, Jacob, Jayden, Jenna, Journey and Josiah; parents, Larry (Maxine) Ferguson and Kathy Jo (Marvin E.) Brown; two brothers Jeffrey Allen (Tammy) Ferguson and James Stewart (Angela) Ferguson; grandmother, Helen Gehrke; step-siblings Roxy (Pedro) Villa, Robert (Shallana) Rowe, Becki (Victor) Nunez, Jerry (Rana Ghana) Rowe; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ray Ferguson and Elmer and Florence Schmidt, an aunt and a cousin. There was a celebration of life for Jason at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas Friday, May 8, 2009. The service was well attended by family, friends and his Quest brothers. There will be a celebration of Jason''s life on the Central Coast at a later date. You may honor Jason with a memorial donation to Widow and Orphans, 8950 Clay Hibbins, Ft. Worth, TX 76180. Checks should be payable to ''Widows and Orphans'' with a post-it note designating Erica Ferguson - this will assist Erica and the kids with funeral and educational expenses. Ephesians 5:1-2 Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us...
