December 18 ~ February 24, 2011
Jason was born in Santa Paula, California on December 18, 1970, and passed away peacefully on February 24, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife, Jenifer; four daughters, Megan (18), Stephanie (17), Emily (16) and Molly (12); two sisters, Gina and Tina; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chuck Butler, Tom and Pat Pretty; two brothers, Skeeter and Jay; He was preceded in death by his parents Stephanie Dausek and Marvin Mitchell. Jason was working towards his degree in Criminology and Emergency Response and Management at the Institute of Technology. Jason proudly served our country in the United States Navy from 1992-1995. While in service to our country he served a tour in Somalia and Iraq. He was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, National Defense Medal, Kuwaiti Liberation Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Southwest Asia service Medal and various other commendations. `Family and Friends are invited to attend graveside services at the Clovis Cemetery after his Funeral Service.

Your Mother stephanie (Goddard) and I were married 1959 shortly after I re-enlisted in the Navy and we divorced 1969. That was why you were born. I'm sorry that both you and your Mother both died at such a young age. It sounds like you and I both had something in common. I made the Navy my career and retired 1974. Sorry we never got the chance to meet.
