ARROYO GRANDE - George Michael Bledsoe, 17, a resident of Arroyo Grande, took his own life Wednesday in Arroyo Grande. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church of Arroyo Grande with Rev. Daniel McHugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Arroyo Grande Cemetery. He was born April 30, 1965 in Cheyenne, Wyo. He had been a resident of Arroyo Grande for the past 11 years, moving from Hesperia. He was to be a senior this fall at Arroyo Grande High School. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George A. Bledsoe, Arroyo Grande; brothers, James, Bledsoe, Rhode Island and John Bledsoe, Arroyo Grande; sisters, Kathy Magdziasz, Arroyo Grande, Becky Dawson, Cheyenne, Wyo., Crystal Elmore, Los Osos and Ellen Wedderburn, Escondido; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made in his honor to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, 3160 Geneva St., Los Angeles, 90020. Wood-Voakes Mortuary, Arroyo Grande is in charge of funeral arrangements.
