Eva Osio Sheller

The endless cycle of life and death joy and sorrow has touched our two clans the Shellers and Osios. Eva Sheller is moving on and her light and smile remain. Eva from her first breath was smiling and happy. A real heart warmer, a consummate cancer sign. Her priorities were making others happy. In her early years she became blessed to find the path of service as a Candy Striper then rose to the top of the Rainbow Girls honored with its highest accomplishment the Grand Cross.
She found a love of style and a career in the Eye-care Industry where she built a following with many patients and clients who also learned to love her, yet none of these express her essence; her infectious smile came from love - a loving spirit. Let it simply be said that the garden produced a rose of the rarest quality. The flower is no longer but the fragrance a permanent reminder. The garden is our Holy Ground and she is still with us. She leaves her closest friends and husband Charlie Sheller and his children, her sisters, Vanessa and Anna, mother Lin and father Said.

I haven't seen it talked to Eva since high school but we were friends then. In the many pics my friends have posted today on FB, she looks just like she did then. Great smile and a great girl. Gone too soon. :(

I'm deeply moved, beside myself over losing my old friend Eva...we were Candy stripers @ AG hospital forever! She & I would laugh & giggle together every Wednesday after school. When we weren't busy with patients, we would go into an empty room & kick Off our shoes, so our nylons could be on the slippery floor, THEN do " THE moonwalk " I'm always going to remember HER! Eva was always SO friendly to everyone she met. GOD has the sweetheart of ALL ANGEL'S now. What a huge loss to her family & friends. My heart goes out to Eva's family & friends. <3

Interesting Brandy, I must have known you, for I did Candystriping with Eva too! I knew her the best during that time. I also was part of something else with her too. She was a lovely and friendly person to me, always kind to me. I'm really sorry to hear that she has passed.

I was a Candy Striper at Arroyo Grande Hospital with you two as well. Eva and I were Rainbow Girls together. Selena-I think you were as well.
Eva was a sweet heart and I am heartbroken to hear of her passing. Colon Cancer is just evil :(

I use to be good friends with Eva from Junior high, we were in band together, rainbow girls and candy stripping at AG hospital. Eva had a very good heat and I am so sorry to hear of her loss. So sad to hear that we lost another dear fried from high school. Eva will always be remembered for her lovely spirit. Eva will be missed .

I am in complete shock and sadness over the loss of one of my best friends from high school. Over the years we have lost touch, but about five years ago we connected again, and it was so good to catch up. Eva sounded like she always did-sweet, happy, and had that contagious laughter. I fondly remember many weekend adventures, football games and dances afterwards, shopping, dancing at the "grad" in SLO, and all the fun two girls could have after school hanging out. I remember supporting her in all her "rainbow" organization installations, and her being there for me in all my sporting and police explorer ventures. Anyone who knew Eva including our teachers in high school immediately were drawn to her magnetic personality, and larger than life smile. Simply put, she was so beautiful inside and out. My mind is racing with memories...but I will leave you with one of my favorite. When someone was down or needed a hug, a dance partner, or a friend to talk too, Eva was always right there to help. I always remember her as an incredibly beautiful, funny, and sweet girl. She will be sorely missed. My sincerest condolensces to her husband, daughter, mother and sisters Anna & Vanessa. May she rest in peace. Love you always Eva. "B.F.N.B."
