Elizabeth Ann Milne peacefully passed away on December 28th, 2014. Elizabeth was born in August, 1937 in Fresno California to Grace and Fred Fowler. Elizabeth "Betty" lived the majority of her life in Arroyo Grande. Betty graduated from Arroyo Grande High School in 1955. After graduation she moved to Lancaster California to work at Edwards Air Force Base where she met her husband Neal Milne. They were married in Las Vegas in 1956 and relocated back to Arroyo Grande in 1957 after Neal was discharged. Betty then went on to work for 25 years for the United States Postal Service as a Rural Route Carrier until her retirement in 1997. Married for 58 years, Elizabeth and Neal raised 3 children. She faithfully cared for her family and friends. She was a woman of faith and the heart of the Milne family. Betty loved gardening, reading, crafting, enjoyed cooking with her grandchildren and truly loved to play games/cards, especially on the holidays with her family and friends. Betty remained active within the community throughout her life. After her retirement she worked as president and manager for the Oceano Senior Center.
