Daniel Adame Garcia passed away Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014,
with family  members by his side holding his hands.
Daniel, known to friends and  family as "Danny," was
born in Fullerton, Calif., to Mr. and Mrs.  Garcia, who had been married over 50
years. Danny resided in Las Barros  with his girlfriend, Denise King. He had
been a Union Painter with Local 52 for over 30 years. He passed his painters
apprentice around 1982  with Local 1336. Danny attended Grover (City) Beach
Elementary School,  Pismo Beach Junior High School and Arroyo Grande High
School. He loved  the beach, especially the dunes. He recalled having ridden
from the  Pismo Dunes all the way to Point Sal, never having left the dunes,
with  his uncles. Daniel worked in Hawaii for several years as a painter
supervisor - he loved the fishing and scuba diving there. He quit his  job in
Hawaii to come home to help care for our ill mother. Danny is  survived by
daughters Danielle Frye and Shana Garcia; grandson, Roger;  siblings Alfonso and
Steven and Irene Weaver; five nieces and nephews  and; and four great nieces and
nephews. A new niece arrived, Temperance, born 8 a.m., 6 lbs, 15 oz., Saturday,
Jan. 18, 2014 '? although he  never saw, he heard all about her. ALL IS GOOD! A
memorial service will  be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at
Marshall-Spoo Sunset  Funeral Chapel, 1239 Longbranch in Grover Beach.
Marshall-Spoo 489-5552  Grover Beach
