One of our St. Patrick's school mates. Can't believe I met him over 30 years ago. He had one of the kindest hearts EVER!
RIP my fellow Celtic.

One of the first friends I met when I moved to AG in 76. We were in Mrs. King's class together at Harloe.

Was pretty upset when Chris passed after hs. Was in class with him since 1st grade. Found out later that he was not expected to live past 8th grade with his tumor. We got 4 extra years with him and are better for them.

Chris was a wonderfully goofy and gentle guy. Our families were close friends so I have many memories of Chris from 4H, summer backpacking trips and working summer jobs with he and Trevor for the city of AG. Once we took a family trip to Mazatlan and Chris was "on the prowl for senoritas" he would say. If there was a pretty girl within a quarter ... Read Moremile, Chris would find her a strike up a conversation even if he had to use a Spanish/English dictionary. fearless! He was fun and mischievous like his dad Pete. I'll look for some old pics and see if I can post some. We are visiting AG and for the summer and I visited his grave yesterday. It made me sad but then thinking about Chris and all the fun and funny things made me smile. He had that effect on people even 20 years after his passing. Chris was a sweetheart of a person, He was very kind and sweet, I have special memories of him following me around, hanging out at my locker, and calling me to chat. I still have the bottle of perfume he gave me at christmas during our sr. year. I even have the picture of him handing it to me with a big bright smile on his face. I seen Chris in the hospital before he passed. His mom might remember me, I'm the one that worked for Dr. Solemany and gave Chris the teddy bear. He will alway be in my thoughts, my prayers, and my heart. The bottle will never be opened so I can alway look at it and remember Chris.

I "grew up" with Chris. His grandparents and my parents were good friends who introduced me.

He was a gentle and sweet soul, who always found humor in the most unusual places. It was hard not to laugh or share a smile with him.

It hit me hard when we lost him, but anyone who met him was a little better for the experience.

Rest well, my old friend - you are missed.

I too was in 4H with Chris and went to school with him. He was always such a nice person. I had no idea he had a brain tumor all those years. He never said anything about it. RIP Chris.

That was the kind of person Chris was. He didn't focus on any kind of setback. He LIVED his life. More living was tossed into his 18 years than any of mine with interest.
