1981-2006
In Loving Memory of Cherry Lou Camba.
Cherry Camba was born in Santa Maria on February 7, 1981 and went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2006 in Nipomo, California at the age of 25.
Cherry grew up in Nipomo and attended Arroyo Grande High School. She was a tutor and was active in AVID. In San Diego, she earned her blackbelt and taught children and adults tae-kwon-do while attending Mesa College. Going to church, practicing tae-kwon-do, and playing basketball were her favorite activities as well as reading the bible, playing the piano, and drawing. She especially loved spending time with her daughter Elisa and enjoyed taking her to the beach and the park. Her place of residence was in San Diego, CA.
She is survived by her beautiful daughter, Elisa Isabella; loving parents Teddy and Claveria Camba; sister and brother in law, Annabelle and Travis Jones; brother, Teddy Camba Jr., boyfriend, Hester Ruperto; and grandmother, Regenita Camba. She is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles and close friends. She is loved dearly by all of them.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 5, 2007 starting 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary, 1003 E. Stowell Rd., Santa Maria. Mass of Christian burial will be held the following day Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 414 E Church, Santa Maria.
Burial will follow in the Santa Maria Cemetery.
Cherry was a very loving, kind hearted, and devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Cherry touched the lives of everyone she met, and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Arrangements are under the care of Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary and Crematory.
