Andrew Shane Holloway, 45, of Arroyo Grande passed away peacefully Saturday, May 3, 2014, with his family and friends by his side. Andy was born in May 1968 in San Luis Obispo. He lived his whole life in Arroyo Grande and graduated from Arroyo Grande High School in 1986. After graduation, he entered the U.S. Navy CB's. While in the Navy reserves, he worked for Union Oil, until 1995. He then joined the IBEW 639, where he remained in good standing. Andy so enjoyed his times at the lake with that very special group of life long friends. He loved the times he spent hunting, fishing and camping, especially in the Sierras. Every spare hour he had, he tried to be on the golf course. He had a way of connecting with every person he encountered and made them feel special in their own way. Through Andy's illness, he always remained positive and stood strong with his wonderful smile. Andy is survived by his two daughters Lacee and Jamie; wife, Kim Holloway; parents Dave and Charlotte; brother, Scott Fee (Sharon): loving friend, Angela Alton; and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins. A celebration of life will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014, the Butterfly Grille at Monarch Dunes, 1606 Trilogy Parkway in Nipomo.

Andy is my husbands brother. I first met him in 1987 and thought, woo hoo, he's a cutie! When he stood next to Scott at our wedding as his best man and brother. Thats when I got the opportunity to meet his then girlfriend, Kim. They were the Ken and Barbie couple. Scott and I had a baby girl, then Andy and Kim had a baby girl. A few years later they followed up with a second baby girl and Scott and I followed suit with the 4th baby girl. Although our visits were too far apart, we never felt anything less than immediate family. Andy and David taught me how to shoot guns while my husband hid in the house. I miss you Andy and regret not spending more time with you and the girls. Love to you all...

Wow...What a shock...I didn't Andy was sick, this was the first I heard.

Andy and I were pretty good friends in high school, we first met working at Lopez lake marina...Lots of good memories with Andy...What a bummer. We kind of went our separate ways after high school when we hit the work force. He was always a guy I wanted to get in touch with but never did...Wow, what a bummer!

My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to Andy's family and loved ones...We lost a good one when we lost Andy...Sad...RIP brother, you will always be remembered...
