Edward C. "Eddie" Evangelista, 69, of Nipomo passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014.  Eddie had been a lifelong area resident, having graduated from Arroyo Grande High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served in the U.S. Navy Seabees.  Eddie is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jackie; two daughters Angie Evangelista and Danielle Robles; son-in-law, John Robles; grandson, Dominic Edward Robles; and siblings. Please wear bright happy colors to the memorial service  at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at the Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel, 1239 Longbranch Ave. in Grover Beach.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Marshall-Spoo Funeral Chapel to help the family with final expenses.
