Guy was born in Richmond, Calif., and moved to Arroyo Grande in 1958. He graduated from Arroyo Grande High School in 1967, where he played tennis for the Arroyo Grande Eagles. Also during his high school years he enjoyed surfing, along with his older brother, Michael and many other close friends. Guy retired as a Unit Supervisor from Atascadero State Hospital in 2000. In retirement, he remained on the Central Coast. He enjoyed life by raising his two young sons, spending time with his friends and family and golfing. He loved to BBQ and entertain. Guy was a wonderful son, brother, father, husband, uncle and friend to his family and friends. His generosity, love of life and willingness to help those in need are a tribute to the legacy he leaves and lives on through his family and friends. Guy is survived by his two sons Joshua Fossaceca and Shea Fossaceca; brother, Michael Fossaceca; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel A. and Bethleen Fossaceca. There will be a celebration of life BBQ from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at the Portuguese Hall in Arroyo Grande. Come help us celebrate his life.
