Baxter was born in October 1921 in Taft, Calif., and passed away  Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, in Arroyo Grande. She was the oldest of four  children born to William Miles and Addie Lee Houser. When she was four,  the Houser family moved to Pismo Beach. She graduated from Arroyo Grande  High School in 1939. On Dec. 27, 1941, Beth married William A. Baxter was born in October 1921 in Taft, Calif., and passed away  Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, in Arroyo Grande. She was the oldest of four  children born to William Miles and Addie Lee Houser. When she was four,  the Houser family moved to Pismo Beach. She graduated from Arroyo Grande  High School in 1939. On Dec. 27, 1941, Beth married William A. Baxter -  they had enjoyed 62 years of marriage at the time of Bill's passing in  2003. Beth is survived by three children William Baxter (Ardeth) of  Santa Fe. N.M.; Barbara Hogstad (Michael) of Bakersfield, Calif.; and  Robert Baxter (Gillian) of Basalt, Colo.; three grandsons; three  great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Baxter; and numerous nieces  and nephews. A private family service is planned.
